Navigation - Zooms
|
There are 3 different levels of zooming. They are as follows:
- National View - Gives you
a view of the NCWF product and Radar Detection for the Continental
US (CONUS). By default, the National zoom is displayed the first
time the product is brought up. As you move your mouse over the
actual product and one of 6 different Region boxes appear (NE, SE,
NC, SC, NW, SW). The boxes show the extent of the area coverage
when zoomed in (SC in this example). Click on the desired box to
zoom into that region.
To demo the effect ... move you mouse over the
"Regional Views" text below.
- Regional Views - Once in
the Regional View (in this case ... "South-Central US"), moving
your mouse over the region, will depict each of the Air Route
Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) Zooms in that region (ZFW in this
example). Click on the desired box to zoom into that ARTCC.
To demo the effect ... move you mouse over the
"ARTCC Views" text below.
- ARTCC Views - Each Air
Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) will be maximized in the
window (in this case ... ZFW). A subsequent mouse click will expand
out to the "National View".
Move your mouse over the "National Views" text
above to emulate the effect
*** Note: Clicking on any
"Zoom" box will automatically resume looping.
Click "Next"
for information on the Detection, Forecast, and Performance
