Altitudes:

Pressing the Altitudes button causes altititude information to be drawn on the display next to the appropriate data symbol. A breakdown of the altitude information is detailed below:
  • For Icing Symbols: includes altitude information for icing bases and tops
  • For Turbulence Symbols: includes altitude information for turbulence bases and tops.
  • For Sky and Weather Symbols: includes altitude information for cloud bases and tops, as well as flight level.

In the report below, a trace level of icing was reported between 15000FT and 17000FT.

In the report below, light-moderate turbulence was reported between 9500FT and 12500FT while another PIREP indicates that no turbulence was encountered at 9000FT.

In the report below, IMC conditions are reported along with a temperature of 11 degrees, visibility 20SM, cloud tops at 9000FT and cloud bases at 4000 FT, and a flight level of 9000FT.
